The role

TRIP are looking for someone to join their brilliant Supply Chain & Operations team to help ensure uninterrupted supply and optimal stock levels across their widely expanding and fast-growing supply chain, whilst effectively driving cost reductions. Reporting into their Senior Planning Manager, you’ll share their collaborative work style, have a passion for the wellbeing sector and be excited to help ensure that their customers have a great TRIP.

TRIP want someone who loves problem solving, attention to detail and continuous improvement to help TRIP continue their rapid growth. They need a team player who’s keen to get involved in the scale-up, challenger brand landscape and looking to make an impact in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

Inventory Management

  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimising excess or obsolete stock. Implement strategies for efficient inventory turnover

Supply & Production Planning

  • Work closely with their manufacturing sites and key raw material suppliers to forecast and organise productions and purchases in line with their desired stock level parameters

Continuous Improvement & Risk Management

  • Deliver projects to improve TRIP’s planning operations and operational resilience. This could include: raw material tenders, new packaging variants, new logistics providers or anything else that would improve operational KPIs!

Supplier Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with copackers, suppliers and hauliers to ensure a reliable and efficient supply of raw materials and finished goods stock
  • Evaluate supplier performance and address any issues that may arise

Financial Planning & Stock Valuation

  • Support the stock valuation and reconciliation process between their MRP systems and physical stock holdings
  • Work with the Senior Planning Manager to ensure that all upcoming productions and raw material purchases are accurately reflected in cash flow projections

Although an operational role, this position will work across multiple functions allowing you excellent exposure to many aspects of their rapidly growing business. You can expect to learn from and work directly with senior professionals in SC & Ops, Finance, Sales and Marketing.

You are

  • 1+ years experience in a planning role (FMCG preferable) or equivalent experience
  • Detail focused, with a passion for problem solving and process improvement
  • Extremely strong communicator, capable of managing relationships across multiple functions and working collaboratively with external suppliers/ third parties
  • Able to see the bigger picture, plan for the long term and find operational efficiencies in a rapidly changing supply chain
  • A self-starter who is super organised and keen to grow within a dynamic team that is taking the UK market (and beyond) by storm!
  • Strong Microsoft excel skills necessary, experience with ERP systems preferable
  • Looking to take a TRIP to happy days✌️
