With Nothing Underneath is a company dedicated to the shirt. WNU is all about simplicity - paired back, laid back, timeless, effortless shirts - just like the woman who wears them. Their shirts are not about trends or fleeting style moments, but about a wardrobe essential in which to live a life.

They're seeking a Creative Strategist to be the link between their performance marketing channels and brand vision. As they rapidly scale the business, this role sits at the intersection of data-driven growth marketing and compelling brand storytelling, playing a pivotal part in our expansion to the US and European markets.

Reporting to the Director of Growth and working closely with the Content Manager, Senior Brand Manager, and CEO, you'll drive creative excellence across their monthly ad spend. 

Key Responsibilities

Creative Strategy & Campaign Development

  • Develop and execute strategic content for paid social campaigns that embody WNU's aesthetic while driving measurable results
  • Lead weekly creative ideation and testing cycles across Meta, Google, and TikTok
  • Create compelling narratives that translate our story into scroll-stopping, conversion-driving content
  • Balance creative innovation with commercial objectives, ensuring campaigns deliver strong ROI

Performance Analysis & Optimization

  • Analyze creative performance metrics (hook rates, hold rates, thumb-stop rates, CTR, ROAS, CPA) to guide iterations and scale winning concepts
  • Develop and implement A/B testing frameworks to continuously improve creative performance
  • Track and report on creative experiments, building a playbook of proven concepts
  • Use tools analytics tools to extract actionable insights and be able to report these to C-Level executives

Content Creation & Direction

  • Write persuasive copy for ads, including hooks and scripts that captivate our target demographics
  • Create detailed storyboards and creative briefs grounded in platform insights and user psychology
  • Mock up new ad concepts using design tools for their design team to execute

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the vital bridge between growth/performance marketing and brand teams
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure creative consistency across all touch points
  • Work closely with the Content Manager to align paid creative with organic content strategy
  • Present creative strategies to CEO and Director of Growth for approval before campaign launches
  • Collaborate with Senior Brand Manager to ensure all creative adheres to brand guidelines

UGC & Creator Management

  • Source and onboard UGC creators across all platforms to build a diverse content pipeline
  • Develop creator briefs that maintain brand standards while allowing authentic storytelling
  • Build and maintain a database of high-performing creators across different demographics
  • Ensure creator content meets both brand guidelines and performance benchmarks

Platform Expertise & Innovation

  • Stay ahead of platform trends, algorithm changes, and emerging ad formats
  • Leverage platform-specific tools (TikTok Creative Center, Meta Ad Library) to identify opportunities
  • Adapt creative storytelling across different mediums while maintaining brand coherence
  • Build structured testing pipelines that scale successful creative across platforms

Essential Experience

  • 4-7 years in creative strategy, growth marketing, or performance-driven creative roles
  • Proven track record in D2C fashion, luxury, or premium lifestyle brands
  • Deep expertise in Meta and Google Ads platforms with hands-on campaign management experience
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing principles and metrics
  • Experience briefing and collaborating with designers, videographers, and content creators

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and ideally TikTok Ads Manager
  • Capabilities in design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) for creating mockups
  • Experience with analytics platforms (Triple Whale, Google Analytics)
  • Comfortable working with creative project management tools (Trello, Asana, Notion)

Creative & Strategic Abilities

  • Exceptional copywriting skills with the ability to craft concise, persuasive messaging
  • Strong visual eye and understanding of what makes content stop the scroll
  • Ability to translate brand strategy into performance-driven creative concepts
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to balance creativity with commercial objectives
